Volunteers

Kauri_Volunteer

The Kauri Museum benefits from the time and skills of approximately 60 volunteers. These volunteers are an essential part of our Museum community and continue to be a tremendous asset for a charitable organisation. Museum volunteers donate their time and skills to help out with tasks such as restoring stationary engines, spring cleaning, acting as live models, working in the shop, helping in the museum gardens and assisting with textiles and archives.

We are seeking expressions of interest from those who wish to become involved with the Museum and assist us with the preservation and guardianship (Kaitiakitanga) of our heritage for future generations.
