Who We Are?

The Kauri Museum is a community Museum governed by a Charitable Trust, the Otamatea Kauri & Pioneer Museum Board.

It is self funded by admission and shop revenue.

The Museum has a staff of 12 full time and 12 part time, alongside a great team of volunteers from the local community.
